7 Ways to Improve Your Twitter Connections

There has been a wrong idea circulating among people that "Twitter is not for Everyone" which is completely irrelevant to how Twitter is designed to work. I would say that Twitter is an amazing medium of cut short messages, instant news platform and if used properly, it could become a very well platform for marketing/ advertising your product or a brand per se.

 Do you think that way too ? If yes, read through the below 7 points to see how you can leverage your twitter account to make good connections and advertising your brand.

Start Following Back :-

Now who wouldn't like a million followers to their account . Wouldn't you ? This has to be the first and foremost work that needs to be set right to get your twitter account and your connections upto the mark, unless you are already a brand that has established its worth on twitter.

If someone's following you, that clearly means that they are showing their interest to see what you have in store and eventually expecting you to follow back too. Now you may tweet all the things that you are doing good and a lot of other things, but they'd like you to follow back as well. If you're not doing that, its most likely you will end up loosing that one follower from your account which is the same with all the followers over the course.

There are users who tend to "DM- Direct Message" you to follow them back and its normal and there are users who would expect you to do the favour of following them back without asking for it. It is for you to decide whether the follower you just gained is worth following back or not. There's another post that talks about interacting with your peer users on Twitter efficiently.

ShoutOut and Engage in Conversations :-

I think this is powerful if you'd want to stay on course with your followers to actually make them feel that you're worth having a conversation. #SO is one of the many twitter tags that users find commonly being used to make a shoutout to your peer follower/following users.

Use the hashtags wisely. Now you don't want to spam your follower with too many hashtags that makes the conversation irrelevant in most of the cases.

 Call out names and start engaging in conversations that will make them feel special and next time they will look forward to your tweets. Now this may not seem like a wise idea if you already have a million of followers to your account but still could be considered doing this once in a while to keep up the interaction factor going forward.

 Its time for you to decide what you should be doing now to make your twitter connections awesome and interactive.

Usage of GIFs :-

Let me tell you this, gif images works all the time. It's attractive and catches the eye on spot and people would want to retweet, start a conversation over your tweet.

 Just a random search for "gif" on twitter gives the below link where you can see for yourself the number of retweets and favorites and replies to the tweets with gif images. That proves it now, doesn't it ?

  https://twitter.com/search?q=gif&src=typd

Ask for Opinions :-

Asking doesn't make you any less than the other person who doesn't, the fact that it only makes you a better person and makes you approachable. Ask for Opinions in the form of tweets. Fellow Twitter users would be happy to reply back to your tweets if that interests them.

Convey a message, or a help if needed, all you have to do is ask and that your twitter herd listens and you might not know, you will have your solution one tweet away.

 Coming to the point, asking for opinions, thoughts, helps improve your connection on twitter.

Use Polling Feature :-

Polling Feature on Twitter is one of the ways to improve your twitter connections. There are a lot of scenarios where you wanted to choose an option from a group of options and you can actually ask it out on Twitter suggesting your connections to choose one for you.

 This will actually improve your perspective on seeing things in a different way and you can even start tweeting back to your twitter users with the feedback that will create a whole new conversation altogether.

Tweet Back :-

As far as Twitter connections is considered, its not one way. Meaning, you have to often tweet back to your other fellow followers, followings tweet and start engaging yourself in a conversation.

This will give you an option to be seen over a wide list of people, your followers/followings followers and improve your connections along the way.

Share Quotes :-

I have found this as one effective way to improve connections, infact it works all the time. Sharing Quotes as a tweet get more considered than a normal tweet like "What a crazy day! ".

The Retweets that you get and the views on your quotes will automatically improve your connections with quality followers overtime.

 Now that I've shared all the 7 ways that I myself use frequently, we have come to the end of this post.

 Let me know if I've missed out any of your favorite ways and also how is it working out for you in the comments.

5 Things to Know About Twitter Analytics

Are you running a business offline or online? It doesn't matter where you do and what you do, but it sure matters that you use any medium of influencing people to come to you, use your service in anyway possible. I've been writing my way through twitter ever since I've found its usability as a media to publicize yourself as a brand no matter what you do and where you're located in any part of the world.

Using twitter has made me realize there are people who take the slightest care of what you do and those are the like minded people that you'd want to follow and want to be followed back. Setting up a twitter account is not a heavy task and the part of being online (by online I mean the way you stay up tweeting frequently without giving up) is a hell of a job if you're running up a business motive on twitter. Unless you've a twitter account that tweets random thoughts that comes to your mind, tweets with media that you see day to day, you wouldn't be running out of tweets.

To use Twitter Analytics efficiently, you should know the least about it at some point of time.

Twitter has given us the option to check who actually are interacting with you and how are you doing last month compared to this month and how exactly are you growing on your followers rate/ following rate and everything that get accounted which is the Twitter Analytics Platform.

In this post, we're gonna list down the 5 thing that you should know about Twitter Analytics before you start using it.

Monthly Tweet Analysis :

Tweet Analysis is what we're going to talk about. Brands or Businesses that are tweeting every now and then from their official account should be using this analytics to collect the data of how far their tweets have reached the world, how good is the engagement of tweets with the fellow twitterers.

Normally, you can see any particular tweet activity just by clicking on the "View Tweet Activity" in your tweet section. That will give you a clear analytics of how did that tweet go with the twitterverse.

You can now view weekly activity of your tweets on the right side of your twitter dashboard as well. But when you want to collect the data monthly so that you can account yourself with the growth that you've reached this month and can easily compare yourself to the previous month and do what you should do to be better next month.

That's a good one and they show you your top tweet for the month, top follower for the month, top mentions, top media tweet, top card tweet etc., all for the particular month that you prefer. Scroll down to your twitter analytics dashboard to see older months analytics data.

You're a social media marketer, that's great., you're just steps away to collect those data and make your excel sheet for the month.

Know Your Influencers :

Twitter is letting you know who was engaging with you the last month most of the times and is showing you the details on what tweet the whole engagement was happening.

Get the data on what was your top tweet on twitter last month, who was your top mention, who was your top follower, what was your top media tweet, what was your top card tweet, all in one single page of Twitter Analytics.

Top Card Tweet for the Month

Top Follower for the Month

Top Mention for the Month

Top Tweet for the Month

You get to know who's your most interesting influencer on twitter in short, you get to know a like minded personality to your business.

Now that's a lot of valuable data for you and your company that runs its promotion on twitter.

Export the Twitter Data :

The twitter analytics data that you see for a month or any relevant period of time can be exported to your local system in csv format.

You can select any particular number of days, years range which lies next to the export button on top of your tweet activity. Now that should be considered as a lot of data related to your twitter market.

Flavour of Audience:

Knowing your audience is the key to promote your business to the fastest level. Twitter Analytics provides you with the data of what audience base that you're followers are and where exactly you can improve to make sure a lot of people read your tweets and engage with it.

Audience Analytics will help you to improve the understanding of your followers base and tweet accordingly. The list shows the people who have engaged with the tweets that you've been tweeting since the given time period.

Conversion Tracking :

Twitter provides you the conversion tracking facility just like Google Analytics where you're (the developer) supposed to put the code to your website and the tracking starts immediately once your code is verified.

The Conversion Tracking works in such a way based on the code that you're implementing to your website. You can track any particular page conversion event based on the conditions option when you're setting up the conversion tracking event.

You can add even multiple accounts to the same analytics dashboard. Click on the username on top right, and select the account that you want to use with the analytics dashboard.

Conclusion :

The data that you get from twitter analytics can be a good option to analyze the growth of your business and make any changes needed to promote your brand on twitter.
Now, that's an important piece of data to your brand.

What features do you like about the Twitter Analytics Platform ?  What do you think it is less of ? Do Share in the comments.

4 Rules To Tweet For Better Marketing

I have been using Twitter for a long time now. Its been 2 years since I created my second twitter account which I am currently active at. After continously getting suspended from twitter at the start, I got some interest in using it to make work for me in a better way now.  I am active with some of real nice followers  which I wish you'd want to follow as well.
And I believe after experimenting tweets all over with my only account, it is time to write this post about tweeting better to reach more readers. Before coming to the point, I just want to give some insights about tweeting.

Actually you'll experience the power of tweeting only when you are active with some decent amount of  followers. Even without the  followers, you can reach out to more people with #hashtags.  Everyone knows that twitter only allows you to express yourself in 140 characters. Its yours to make it work within those 140 characters in an efficient way.

Well, Let's go to the rules that I follow to tweet mostly for better marketing.

Is Timing Important?

  If you ask me, I'd probably say its important as much as who you're following and who you're targeting at. People will see your tweet anytime they visit your profile. But that's not the way it should work is it? People should see your tweets on their stream when they are logged in. Obviously, you can't determine when your followers should log in to see your tweets. Studies show that tweeting between 3-9 pm gets more responses and retweets. You'd possibly use twitter at times whenever you're free. And that includes the times between 1-2 pm (Lunch), 4-5 pm (somewhere near a coffee break), and after 9 pm which is possibly you lay down on your bed tweaking your stream.

I saw an awesome post by Belle Beth Cooper at Buffer which I thought I should share with you guys. You'd probably never wanna miss out your followers engagement with tweets at times. So my point is timing is important factor which you shouldn't miss out if you want  to get more engagement with your targeted followers (retweets, favorites, replies).

Use #hashtags:

  Using hashtags in your tweets has more influence with more than your tweeters. Since the search results of twitter are improved with not only the hashtags, its even possible to use keywords in your tweets as it comes in the search results too. For example, You use the word like #smm (Social Media Marketing) in your related tweet, it gets more exposure and responses and reach people other than your followers too.

If you tweet with a hashtag, anyone who searches for the keyword will have a chance to look at your tweet and who knows might get it clicked.

Use hashtags not more than once in your tweet. It has been considered a spam as per this blog post if you tweet has more than 2 hashtags. There are always people who search on twitter with hashtags and you might get listed in their search results too.
Make use of them in your tweets as it powerful enough for marketing your blog or business and chances are pretty increase in your followers as well.

Frequent Tweeting:

 Frequent Tweeting makes you get used to it. And eventually it'll become a part of you sharing your blog posts or any thoughts that come on the road. Your tweets get more engaged when you tweet frequently.
Here are some tips for frequent tweeting.
  • Tweet a minimum of 4-5 tweets for starters and if you feel you're upto it, then use any automated tools to manage your tweets
  • Make sure you decide when to tweet and when's not for all the applications won't always tweet as per your request (which might be a spam).
           There are hundreds of thousands of applications that bake spams with your profile. Stay out of them for the sake of your profile.
  • Tweet your common thoughts once in a while and make sure they don't hurt anyone, if it does, you might get blocked on twitter.
  • Tweet 2-3 quotes a day to make your profile look lively and to gain more followers too.

Use Action Keywords:

Its a good one for better tweeting and better engagement. Call for Action has more influence with the tweets especially they tend people to read and share (retweet) your tweets. All you have to do is to put some words of action like RT, Fav, #FF, #fb ETC.,
Whenever you tweet something may be your blog posts or any quotes, its okay to ask people to retweet them or favorite them. Ask for what you want and if its good, you'll get it. An Infographic based on a  recent analysis by SocialBakers has pointed out that tweets with call of action, have got more clicks, retweets, and favorites than the ones without it.

Conclusion:

  Timing is more important which you can't keep up always with your followers and that's where the tools come in to fill your needs. With the right timing and the easy to follow tweets gets more engagement .

Now tell me how do you tweet often for better marketing.

Share the love with your friends.

10 Tips to Improve Interaction On Twitter

Source: Wikimedia
Interaction is a very important business acumen.Without a significant amount of Interaction with your social media profile lists, running a business online is much difficult. Engaging with your social profile followers and friends will help a lot to improve your business in terms of growth, name and money. It won't seem bad when it comes to self-promoting your business or product. As and through the growth of your brand or business, you'll need a lot of interaction with the fellow members and followers. Twitter can be helpful for any business to gain more followers worldwide and will grow your business fair enough.
Any business say blogging, products or brand will possibly need a fair amount of engagement with the crowd at the start which is a part of Marketing Strategy.
     In this post, We are gonna see 10 simple tips to maintain a decent interaction on Twitter. Interaction on Twitter is very important for business. Twitter is said to be an effective micro-blogging platform and it has increased 40% of its crowd since 2012. Marketing brands or any business (SMB's) etc., are running wild on Twitter currently. For a business to run viral on Twitter, the major thing needed is Interaction. Only tweeting 10 tweets per hour will not make the business run sharp. As you know, Nobody cares what you tweet unless it has something they want. So, you are gonna have to make people want what you have. And thats the part of Marketing Strategy. The main component needed for this strategy is Interaction. Letting people know you have what they want will automatically attract the customers. Here are 10 tips to maintain a decent interaction on Twitter for business to reach more people (followers).

1. Continous Tweeting:

Lets start with tweeting. I didn't say tweeting more is a problem. Tweeting more can be a problem if nobody listens to what you tweet. It could be of no use when you tweet continously and everything goes in vain. Gather your crowd and tweet frequently based on your niche.

2. Filter Fellow Tweeps:

You have to filter your followers based on who actually listens to you (tweets). Its simple. People who retweets, favorites, mentions you a while are those who actually listens to your tweets. You will know eventually when you start engaging with your followers.

3. Start Talking:

Yes. You have to take the initative if nobody's willing. Its your business to run and you're gonna have to move your ass first. Start interacting with the fellow crowd and let them know you're concerning them. While Mentioning them, make sure you're referring to them and make them get interested in your tweets. This will automatically increase your business exposure.

4. Use HashTags:

This is actually one of the main strategy for interacting wide. As you know with hashtags, your tweets reaches more people than just your followers.  Mention your tweets with not more than 2 hashtags as because it seems spammy when more hashtags are used within those 140 characters. Mention your crowd tweeps with hashtags like #FF, #TGIF, #RT etc., just to get their attention as well as the attention of the other people on twitter as well.

5.  Retweet, Favorite:

What are these for? Retweet your followers tweets to let them know you're interested in making an interactive session with them. RTs can be done in two different ways. As you know you can click the Retweet button to do it or you can also quote the person's name and tweet him with his original tweet. Its better to RT their tweet by mentioning it as a seperate tweet rather than just Retweeting them.

6. Praise the Retweets:

Tweeting continously will make your twitter account look fresh and lively. Of course, it may bring lot of Retweets and favorites for your tweets.The one thing you could do to make your engagement with the tweeps is praising the Retweets like mentioning the @person and thanking him for the Retweet and let the flow go on.

7. Add to Lists:

 Add your favorite people on Twitter to your lists. Its easy to find who are your favorite ones. Those who retweet, favorite and engage with you the most on twitter are your favorite ones who listens to your tweets. Keep them groomed and stay engaged with them often to let them know you concern for them.
Actually you can use the 4th tip here. ie; tweet them often with #hashtags listed above.

8. DM Only if Needed.:

No matter what you do try to engage with the fellow tweeps, there is always some kinda privacy for each and every one of them. DMs with links are mostly considered spams these days because of the third party applications that we use over to gain followers that will lead to loose followers as well. So, as far as DM is concerned, use it only for secure purposes and avoid spammy links via DMs.

9. Tweet Quotes Often:

Tweeting is fun when you've something interesting is going on which you wanna share with your followers and getting engaged in several 140 character conversations. More often tweeting Quotes will make your account get followed by many people as well as get yourself into interacting with the others. When you open your profile and you see all your promotional tweets for your business and you'll feel drowsy and bored. Tweeting Quotes often will help your account look refreshing and yourself too.

10. An Awesome Twitter Bio:

It should have been on the top on the list if the Post Title is "Tips To Gain More Followers". Your Twitter Bio also takes part in getting yourself more engaged with your followers. You may find it funny though, but it is your Trademark to let the twitterers know who you are and what you do. Twitter Bio ranges according to the business industry which you are into. You should have an attractive bio on your Profile which will make your followers interested in you and start engaging on their own to your tweets.

Conclusion:

Now that I have finished with the 10 Tips, I am waiting to hear how you could make use of your interaction on Twitter for your business and your experiences in engaging with your twitter tweeps.

How to Use Pinterest Effectively To Gain More Traffic

Pinterest - a platform of Infographics and a media of pictures that rock the Internet World these days. Just like other platforms StumbleUpon, Instagram etc., it started as something and is now one of the top  social media. It is a social networking platform to enhance your social engagement with other fellow networkers.
Pinterest was first started in early 2010's and has got an amazing response from the users (mostly bloggers and SMB's) all over the world. And now it is listed as one of the top bookmarking tools by EbizMBA as of June 2013. As you know it as an infographic platform, you can  share (Pin It) images other than infographics too. Large amount of traffic can be produced to your blog or your business if it is used efficiently. Here in this post, I'll tell you some techniques to make it work for you and your business efficiently.

Just Like Other Social Networks:

Remember Pinterest is a social networking platform too.It also stands 4th in top social networking sites by EbizMBA.  First of all, don't think Pinterest is strange and uneasy to use. It is just like other social networks. Let me tell you how it differs from other social networks like Facebook and Twitter.

 Facebook->Pinterest:
  • Sharing (Share) -> Pinning (Pin It)
  • Like ->Like
  • Pages -> Boards
  • Friends -> Followers
  • Comment -> Comment

Twitter -> Pinterest:
  •  Tweet -> Pin It
  • Retweet -> Pin It
  • Favorite -> Like
  • Reply To -> Comment a description
  • Followers -> Followers
  • Following -> Following
  • Lists -> Boards

Considering all the above controversies, it can be said as Pinterest is a combo of everything. Lets get into the things that you could make a fine use of it .

Pin It- The Top Notch:

Pin It- button is what makes the Pinterest works. When you pin it, it comes to your board(if board is already created). If you have no boards already, you need to create one and start pinning you images. The Board name should be exactly related to your blog's function. You may create as many boards as you like. For example: If your blog's niche is Social Media Marketing, then you may create your board like Social Media Marketing or Social Media Blogging or Social Media Infographics ( if you pin infographic images) based on your Genre. Use the Pin It button in your blog for the readers to pin your posts on their accounts too. The main thing to notice while pinning your posts is don't pin all your posts at a time. Pin only such posts that you believe could make the users view it on your website. If it's an infographic image, Pin It without any second thought coz it always costs you some visits.

Search On The Floor:

Search On Pinterest
  Search is an effective option to find what exactly you're looking for. You may find a common search on the top left side of your Pinterest Account. Pinterest allows you to search for keywords even if you don't have any account associated with it. That means you don't need an account to search for keywords. For example:, You search with the keyword Social Media Blogging. It shows a list of results and the results changes everytime you search again with the same keyword. It is updating its search as soon as a new entry is posted with the same keyword. This is the benefit of search option in Pinterest. You'll be getting new and fresh results everytime you search with the keyword. And you can also find the keywords that are mostly listed on the search results. This will help you analyze the keywords and use them when you pin your own posts. Remember the search is based on the title of the pin and  make sure you have the most searched keywords on your title to get listed on the search results.

Writing a Description:

Write a Mind Blowing Description
  Description is another main part of Pinning a Post to Pinterest. Only the title of a post is not enough to pin your image on Pinterest. Description is a must to pin your post. It has to be powerful enough to tempt anyone to read the full blog post. Lets say,  You're searching with a keyword. A list of results are displayed based on your search. So, what'll you do? You open a pin and view the image, first you'll see whether it has a description or not, just to get a vague idea  what the pinned image is about. If you don't see any description, you'll move forward to another pin. Well, If the description is nice and clear to understand, you'll read the full post on their blog. Likewise, every user will expect a description for any pin so that they could get an idea of what the pinned image is about. A description should be good enough that it should tempt the viewers to read the full post on your blog. It should describe the theme of the post that you're going to Pin It. Here are some tips to write a powerful description for Pinning an image.
  • Understand the whole theme of your post and write a sentence that covers the theme.
  • Write not more than one or two lines.
  • Don't copy the same lines from your post.
  • Finish your description line with a question or suggestion that tempt the reader to read your full post.

Here comes the Interaction:

Finally, it all comes to interaction. After everything you have done, interact with other Pinners very often to show off what you've pinned. Interact with the people related to your Genre, like, comment on their pins, repin their pins on your boards. Let them know what you're pinning. When the title and description are better even without a good image to pin, people would love to read the full post on your blog.

Conclusion:

With all the above, I guess I covered some techniques to use Pinterest effectively to gain traffic. Now, do post your ideas and suggestions below too for all the readers out there.

Advertise Your Business On Facebook- Sponsored Ads

     Facebook has been the most well used strategy for advertising your business. Facebook users are engaging with the Ads and the rate of engagement has grown 11% over in just 6 months. They also announced that it reached 1 billion online users just before months (start of this year 2013) . The strategy is that its user interface is highly attractive to any kind of people may be even to the ones who have just started using it. As we know, to promote our business we all would create facebook business pages where we keep on sharing updates to keep our crowd (people who have liked your page) updated on everything about the business. It might sound easy and stressless overall when you hear its all about sharing updates frequently and you may say "Well, I could do that sharing and blah blah blah". But guys, its more than just sharing. I agree sharing is an important part and it might be easy as some of us feel too, but there's something you should worry about. "The Crowd". That's what I'm talking about.
         In this post, I am going to tell you the advertising techniques that the social media freak Facebook has provided to your efficient use of marketing your business.
         You can able to create a Facebook Ad only if you have a business page. Facebook ads differ in cost as per your need.

Struggling to find the crowd?

       So, where will you find your crowd?. Going on asking your friends and followers to like your business page is a good idea. But, even it seems little dizzy when you think of the long time maneuver. You can't keep on asking the same guys that you've been asking all long. Its better to get recognized over to many people and getting more likes per day or per week. If you have a business page, you might notice your page's growth through the Facebook Insights. At the start it always feels like you haven't got into much likes per day. Some might loose the interest in sharing posts on their page because of less listeners. It takes some days to get into the market.

Know your Business Strength:

      First of all, having in mind what exactly your business is, know what needs to be put into work to make it gain more listeners. Facebook has provided the advertising of your pages on a manner as "Sponsored". This sponsored pages have the priority that stands out to other business pages in every aspect.  When you know what exactly your business needs, you'll also know how to do it. The Point of using this advertising strategy is that you may have seen on your wall where when your friends like some pages, it is shown Sponsored at the end along with the total likes or may be with a recent post from that page suggesting you should consider liking the page too. This is called Sponsored Stories and Ads on Facebook. And this functionality costs a bit low considering the advantages that you get by using it on your business page.

Is it Building an Audience?

         Is it so? Are you thinking about how to get more audience who would actually listen to what your page says? Then you gotta work on this portion of sponsored advertising where you actually do nothing much but gaining your audience. Facebook provides some of the best offers to online ads where you can concentrate on specific crowd based on Age, Gender, work place, location etc.,

Regular Ads:

Regular Ads, ie) Premium Ads are the ones that you might have seen on the right side of your facebook homepage. This is kind of letting people know that how many have liked the particular page and suggests them to like it too. Its your selection that gets displayed as the headline, text and image and also where you want them to enter into first.

Sponsored Stories:

Sponsored Stories are the ads that will help you get more audience through your friends. People will see these ads in their news feed when their friends like the particular page. It suggests the user to like it too, and the logic is that you might like it too as it is indirectly suggested by your friend. It is a best option to get discovered through your friends who have already liked your page. This mode of advertising is best suited for the new start-ups to gain more audience that would actually listen to the business. Getting discovered is one main hassle for every start-up business pages on Facebook and this ads will make it easy within a short span on its own.

Or is it Engagement?

Or do you choose Engagement with your present audience? Engaging with the people is a better one considering if you have better things to show off with like getting more likes and shares to your posts. Facebook Engagement have grown 11% in just 6 months. This means you gotta be in that list of people who use this service too. Note that your post updates should be more interesting to the crowd as much as they want to comment, shre and like your posts and always keeping in touch with your business.

Regular Ads From Page Posts:

The Regular Ads from page posts are the same as like the regular ads that we have discussed earlier and the speciality is that it displays a specific post from your page and displays on the right side of the user's facebook home. And you can select which post to be displayed whatever it may be that you want your users to see and interact with. It may be either a video, image or text anything. It is best for sharing great content, promoting a specific post or a product.

Sponsored Stories From Page Posts:

Like we discussed earlier on the sponsored stories, it displays the posts that your friends have liked on a business page. When you do use this Sponsored stories from page posts for your business page, users will be able to view the posts or status or any content that their friends have liked on your business page. It is targeted mainly on the existing friends or fans to your page and let them interact with the posts by sharing or commenting on it.
         Interaction is only possible when you have a interesting topic to talk, share about. So if you believe your business page has such interesting quality posts you could make use of the Sponsored Stories from the page posts. This option will produce a sponsored ad with the latest post and tempts the users to comment, share or like it as once they see them.

Conclusion:

          My advice is if you are just started your business and want to advertise on facebook, you should go on with the first set for Building the audience and once you're settled with a decent number on the crowd, you may try out the Engagement set of advertising options.
        Now let me know what you are targeting (Audience or Engagement) and what advertising option would you possibly choose for your business below on the comments.

Social Bookmarking- A Time Saver Aesthetic

Social Bookmarking
Social Bookmarking tools are a remarkable piece of value to the internet which let us share and bookmark things right where we sit.  Social Bookmarking is a major time saver aesthetic for all of us who are running business online.  Just imagine the situation if there is no social networking and bookmarking medias.!! Well,now that's hard. We have to do everything manually promoting our business through advertisements and  campaigns, webinars etc., I am sure that Blogging will be a piece of cake, but the part next to it called as marketing will be the outta deal. The part where we have to let the internet to know the content that we have becomes a hundred men's job .
          If not for all the social networking media and its bookmarking tools, a blog would suffer a lot to come up with a high PR and traffic rather you go on advertising online and through mass medias and do campaigns. Technically, bookmarking tools brings a lot of traffic to your site than through listed in search giants such as Google, Bing etc., Speaking of traffic, recent surveys provide an analytics that more than 60% of traffic to blogs come through social bookmarking sites and social medias.
         The definition of a bookmarking tool is just a tool that helps you to pin your posts for future references. Here, a social bookmarking tool is said to be a via program that helps you to pin or share your posts to various social medias. With the introduction of these social bookmarking websites, the trend has been changing that people are searching for what they want in these social bookmarking websites and its social medias.  Pinterest with its infographic revolution, Reddit with forum kinda coolness, Twitter with their hashtags, Digg with its whole lot of awesome bookmarking service, Quora with its community services (gather and group around your community experts) are becoming the places where people prefer to show their interest to satisfy their needs.
         The relation with social media and social bookmarking  is that you can call a social networking site as a social bookmarker, but you can't say a social bookmarking tool as a social networking site. For example, We know that Twitter is a famous social networking platform, a microblogging website.  It is also considered to be a social bookmarking site. The latest Top 15 social bookmarking sites list by EbizMBA puts Twitter 1st on the list which is followed by Pinterest, Reddit and so on.
       Attention!! It will be lame not to mention one of the gaint social media here. Yes. I am pointing out the Twitter guys who made us to speak with not more than 140 characters. Twitter is a social microblogging service also a leading sharing service that light out your content to the social media. A one follow button can change everything to be knowing interest of your crowd.
        I also have to agree the fact that, my interest in writing some of the posts did come from these sites especially Twitter and Pinterest.

     Bookmarking Services:

                   There are hundreds of thousands of bookmarking services out there that will help you keep posting live content all the time to the social environment. Even the communities like Reddit, Stumbleupon, etc., makes you promote your posts among your community readers.
            Bit.ly is also a bookmarking tool along with the functionality of a url shortner, that allows you to share on Twitter and Facebook. There are also bookmarking sites like Digg, Delicious, Stumbleupon where you share your content through the share plugin installed on your blog.
          I don't know how many of you would know Bloggers, but I believe that it is a platform where you can find most of the bloggers of your niche where they form community of mutual beneficiaries. Bloggers shares your content automatically through the RSS Feeds of your blog.
        Coming to Pinterest, It has the most finest infographics on the internet. A picture is worth a thousand words. Here, the pictures are not only worth just words but also worth of the information one would write in a whole post. Moreover, you can use the infographics as an information for your next post. Pin the blog post on your account by creating and organizing boards. You can also follow boards on your niche. Note while pinning your pictures write the description that relates your blog post. Your description is a key value to your pin that decides whether a pinterest user to visit your post or not. Most possibly add the pinterest Pin It button on your pages that will let you share easily to the service.

Marketing Your Blog with Google +

  Google+ is one of the popular social networking site that is growing fast irrespective of its debut. Earlier when it was introduced around mid 2011, many of us would have thought how could it come along with all the other famous social networking sites. Google announced that they reached 10 million users within a couple of weeks time  at the trial phase. I never minded it as a main system for blogging.  I never thought it would create an impact on marketing this good. Like everyone else, I created an account there and just left it unnoticed, honestly I never made an effort to get knowing about it. Later on, I found the importance of having a profile on Google + that could help grow our business in an efficient way.
                               Running a blog successfully, is not a piece of cake. It includes a bit of ridges and furrows. Only updating your blog often will not help you to get noticed by people. It will only help you get listed on the top search engine's list. But, when you need many readers to actually read your post frequently, you have to promote your posts through various medias and anything that would help others to know about your blog. Recently, Google+ seems to be a glittering tool for SMB's and bloggers to run their business. Promoting a blog post or any business page is very easy with the Google+ network. Once you decide to spent some time learning the functions of this network, you'll find it easy to get through it.
                             In this post, I will help you with some tips that could be a great deal for marketing your blog with G+. Read it through to know the things that you could make use of to publicize your blog with Google+.

Create a Strong Bio:

                             As you have been promoting your business through most of the social networks, you may know that a neat professional account will always do the thing for you. Whenever you do publish a post, remember that if you have author of the blog linked to Google+ profile will provide you priority to other authors. When you do marketing with Google+, professionally a strong tech bio that suits your niche will do the thing for you. When people read your posts and then may read your profile to know your credibility. The Bio should be exactly related to the niche you blog at. Actually people on Google+ are mostly business professionals and SMB's and bloggers., They would love to Add you to their Circles only when you have a strong bio that portrays your work. I guess it is not that difficult to create a decent bio for your business profile on Google+ than to write a blog post.

Create a Business Page:

              Google+ allows you to create a business page as like Facebook. Mostly the probloggers share their posts on their personal profile that makes them a business pro.  If you may not want to share it on your profile, you can create a business page for your blog to share it to your circles and the public.

Make Use of the Circles:

                       The Google+ provides you a special functionality to share your posts and thoughts with the people you want. It is a Social Network after all and it allows you to use the circles in your way. You can add people to your circles. First of all, create seperate circles for family, friends, business etc.. You might not want to share your business with anyone who feel disturbing. But the truth is when you share a post public to all including your circles, even there is a chance of others who are not in your circle would view and click on your post. Sharing isn't a crime though. You may ask people to share it with their circles.

An Integrated Process:

             Google+, Gmail, Google search etc..  are the products of Google. Whether you have noticed it or not, when you share a post from your blog, it'll ask whom to share with and when you select the people in your specific circle, it also sends a notification mail to get their attention that you've share something with them. It'll increase the number of people who view your post and visit your blog if they like it. And it is also a benefit when on the search, Google prioritizes the posts on a particular topic with the G+ profiles linked on it. All you have to do is when you do a blog post, link your G+ profile as the blog author.

Follow Communities:

              Inside of Google+, there are hundreds of thousands of communities that will help you gather more to your circles. Join the communities on your niche and interact with the people inside. It is a great opportunity to make you and your blog go famous among the crowd. Use the keyword Categories in Google+ that will recommend you to follow your niche categories and also will help you to know more people. Search for categories with # and interact with the people and publicize your blog.

 Conclusion:

              Marketing your blog with Google+ is not a big work. It's just a matter of time to invest in frequently to interact with the people of your kind. When you do get a crowd who listens to your posts, it all comes to sharing frequently. Sharing is not a tough work as you can share through your blog page or you may use sharing tools. Please speak your mind if you have any other useful tips on marketing with Google+ through the comments.
